Some of My Legislative Priorities

Some of my legislative priorities I would support for the social and financial health of working families and low-wage earners include:

• Providing childcare resources as an incentive to start and build families

• Invest in affordable permanent housing and expand transitional housing

• Quality public education and vocational training while resisting manifestly unfair private school vouchers

• Mandatory must-pass education in the US Constitution and its amendments at the secondary education level

• Defend the civil rights of women, all people of color, and LGBTQIA+ people

• Resist the introduction of hyperscale AI data centers in my legislative district

• Assist and invest in agriculture to keep it economically viable as well as make provision for public school cafeterias to make use of local produce and dairy products

• Support of a complete overhaul of campaign finance laws to prevent corporate, political organizations, and the super wealthy from buying our elections and government positions

• Support, as public education, the access to a baccalaureate degree should a person desire to achieve that level of education.
